Alfred is creative and analytical, and as the co-founder of Hedaya Capital, understands that every deal is unique and requires a custom business financing solution. In addition to staying abreast of the different areas of Hedaya Capital’s operations, Alfred is known for closing and underwriting non-traditional transactions with a proven track record of achieving sustained growth with working capital loans. His background in merchandising and sales in the fashion industry help him identify with our clients and understand their strengths and opportunities. Alfred is always quick at finding ways to propel growing businesses with trade finance tools, including letters of credit, factoring, and inventory financing.

Education: B.S. from the New York University Stern School of Business.

Ezra is an expert at maintaining relationships with our clients, always staying in touch and ensuring that clients are serviced to their top satisfaction. He has extensive experience in negotiating and structuring new factoring transactions in a broad range of industries including apparel, shoes, accessories, textiles, electronics, and consumer products. Ezra is known for closing business loan transactions in a quick and efficient manner, and also for being a perfectionist when it comes to customer service. Ezra is active in the financial services industry, and currently serves on the board of 475 Esquire Toppers Credit Club.

Education: B.S. from the New York University Stern School of Business.

Interests: Spending time with his wife & children, traveling, skiing, hiking, reading, and mountain biking

Jack, as the co-founder of Hedaya Capital, always sees the bigger picture and is proficient at helping clients achieve growth objectives through our working capital loan solutions while managing portfolio risk. Prior to Hedaya Capital, Jack managed production for over 40 million dollars in sales for a national accessories company, for which he dramatically increased corporate efficiencies through consolidation of business units and negotiation with overseas factories.

Education: B.A. and M.B.A., Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College.

Interests: Spending time with his wife & children, cycling, and grooming his moustache.

Louis serves as Senior Advisor for The Hedaya Capital Group. In this role, he is responsible for leading and executing new business development strategies and growth initiatives, as well as identifying and capitalizing on new markets and networking efforts. He also leverages a vast network of referral relationships to acquire and develop new client relationships. In structuring financing solutions uniquely suited to each client’s business and situational needs, Louis draws upon over three decades of global banking, factoring, commercial finance and risk management experience. He is based in The Hedaya Capital Group’s New York City headquarters.

Prior to joining The Hedaya Capital Group, Louis held executive roles at BHI USA, the U.S. Branch of Bank Hapoalim, where he served as Senior Vice President, Head of Domestic Commercial & Industrial Lending; the CIT Group Commercial Services, where he served as Managing Director, Head New Business Development; and at Israel Discount Bank where he served as Senior Vice President and Head of IDB Factors. He has a proven record of growing factoring, commercial lending, and banking businesses and leading high-performing business development, underwriting, credit and portfolio account management teams.

Louis is active in many industry organizations and is a member of the Board of Directors of the New York Institute of Credit. He also serves as an Executive Committee Member of ORT America’s NY Chapter of Accountants, Attorneys, Bankers, and Financial Professionals. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the NY Institute of Technology.

David Huber, Vice President, Portfolio and Operations Manager

David serves as Vice President, Portfolio and Operations Manager of The Hedaya Capital Group. In this role, he leads the portfolio management, operations management, business development, and marketing functions for the Company. He manages and oversees the factoring client portfolio, leads the account executive and operations teams, and fosters a collaborative and high-performance team culture. Additionally, David sources new client opportunities and executes strategic growth initiatives for the Company. He brings deep industry experience and a proven relationship management and customer success track record.

Prior to joining The Hedaya Capital Group, David served as the National Sales Director for Raistone Capital LLC, where he sourced and managed over $1 billion of supply chain finance, receivables financing, and trade finance volume annually. Previously, he served as Vice President of White Oak Commercial Finance and began his career as a regional field organizer for the Human Rights Campaign. He is a member of the Future Leader Committee for the New York Institute of Credit and founder and board member of The Dream Factory of Brooklyn Inc., an all-volunteer wish-granting nonprofit.

He earned his BBA at CUNY Brooklyn College and his MBA at Mercy College.

Arthur serves as a Senior Account Executive of The Hedaya Capital Group. He is responsible for managing and expanding client relationships and assisting clients in growing their businesses with the support of reliable and patient capital. In addition to managing a portfolio of factoring relationships across various industries and regions, Arthur works closely with Hedaya Capital Group’s executive team to effectively and efficiently service clients and manage complex or troubled accounts. He brings deep industry experience, proven relationship management skills, and a track record of customer success honed over five decades in the commercial finance industry. He is well known for his unrelenting focus on providing client service and the ability to expertly shepherd clients and transactions through multifaceted sales, underwriting, and accounting management processes.

Prior to joining The Hedaya Capital Group, Arthur was a Senior Account Executive at Rosenthal & Rosenthal for 18 years, responsible for handling a myriad of client relationships across various industries. Previously, he spent 36 years at CIT in senior portfolio and account management roles.

Arthur earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Financial Management from Bernard Baruch City College.

Anita Lakhaney Client Relationship Associate / Credit Processing

Anita manages the day-to-day transactions on clients’ accounts, including providing time efficient responses to inquiries concerning customer credit approvals, borrowing base and availability, updates on business financing, and month-end reporting. Anita also assists with setting up new clients and provides systems training. Anita has been with Hedaya Capital since 2010, and has over 5 years of experience in financial services.

Her promptness and courtesy ensure that our clients’ requests are addressed quickly and to our clients’ satisfaction. Syeda has been with Hedaya Capital since 2010, and also assists with the company’s bookkeeping.

David Hedaya Account Executive

David serves as an Account Executive at The Hedaya Capital Group. In this role he is responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of clients and helping them grow their businesses through access to scalable and patient capital. In addition to managing a portfolio of factoring relationships across various industries and regions, he is responsible for new business development and expanding his referral source network through conferences and industry events. He works closely with the firm’s senior leadership in building creative financing solutions and onboarding new clients. With an industry-agnostic mindset, he specializes in assisting companies in the retail, wholesale, energy and chemical sectors.

Steeped in the family business since college, David also focuses on building the firm’s brand and personifies the firm’s old world values and new world thinking. Excited to continue the family tradition, he is known for his dedication and entrepreneurial mindset. He is active in the SFNet and serves on the New York Chapter’s Young Professionals Committee. Prior to joining The Hedaya Capital Group, David worked with a real estate development company and a modular building startup.

As a college student, he developed an interest in tropical medicine and ran a medical program in sub-Saharan Africa, coordinating treatments for thousands in hopes of eradicating disease. He is currently in the process of registering a nonprofit in Ghana to continue this life-saving work.

When not helping businesses grow, he enjoys reading, surfing, snowboarding, and cycling. David earned his B.S. in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business.
